A late afternoon walk from Crowcombe Park Gate to Dowsborough Hillfort. On this occasion finding the remains of the ‘Scheduled Monument’ hillfort itself alluded me, perhaps on my next trip!
Long exposures of up to four minutes have turned the sea into a smooth, almost ethereal, appearance. This simplifies the image and emphasises to incredible rock formations found on this Jurassic coast line.
This Jurassic coastline was designated England’s first natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2001.
The Isle of Harris is located in the Outer Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland, about 670 miles from London. It has some of the most spectacular beaches in the country and possibly the world.
